This work was created by Emmanuelle Michaux in the private apartments of the Château d’Ainay-le-Vieil, in the Berry region of France. It is a commissioned piece, based on photographs of the family that owns the château.
The artwork traces the life of the family over five generations and is designed to evolve over time, directly on the wall of the apartment.
